Service Description

The Purcells near Golden are threaded with logging roads that open up terrain most touring groups never reach. Your snowmobiles get you deep into the range fast – your ACMG guide takes over from the sled drop: route-finding, avalanche assessment, and terrain selection for the ski and splitboard portion of the day. More vert, more remote, more untracked snow. How it works - Your group provides and operates snowmobiles for the approach - Guide leads all touring and skiing from the sled drop-off point - Terrain and objectives set on the day based on conditions Your private day includes - Full day with a certified ACMG ski or splitboard guide - Guide-led avalanche assessment and terrain selection - Avalanche safety training and transceiver practice - Up to 6 guests What to bring - Your own snowmobiles and fuel - AT ski setup with skins, or splitboard - Avalanche essentials: beacon, shovel, probe - Lunch, snacks, and emergency gear for a remote day Not included: Snowmobiles or sled guide (your group handles access) · Travel insurance (strongly recommended) Pricing $1,000 / group + 5% GST · Up to 6 guests


Cancellation Policy

Booking & payment 100% payment is required at booking. All prices in CAD + 5% GST. No refunds All bookings are non-refundable from the moment of payment — no exceptions for personal reasons, weather, illness, or closures. Transfers & replacements Bookings are non-transferable and tied to the named individual(s) only. Unused spots are forfeited. Government or supplier closures In the event of COVID-19, government, or supplier-related closures, no refunds will be issued. GPG may not have the funds available to refund. Your travel insurance must cover these events — GPG will provide documentation to support your claim. Force majeure If guiding cannot proceed due to avalanche hazard, extreme weather, road closure, or similar circumstances beyond our control, GPG retains up to 50% of the fee to cover fixed costs. Any refund above 50% will be issued within 30 days, minus a 3% credit card fee and $150 admin fee. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Last updated: November 3, 2025
