Kicking Horse Slackcountry Guided Adventures - Golden BC

IMG_1557.jpeg

What is a guided day of slack country?

Discover Epic Slackcountry Powder at Kicking Horse Slackcountry skiing at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. This delivers the ultimate blend of lift-accessed convenience and true backcountry freedom—hike or skin along ridges for untouched lines, deep powder bowls, glades, and steep couloirs in the stunning Dogtooth Range and Purcells.

No full-day touring from the valley bottom; just gondola up and dive into prime, lift-served backcountry terrain with maximum vertical and endless fresh tracks. Perfect for stoked ski tourers and splitboarders chasing the deepest powder without the full wilderness commitment—but remember, this is real backcountry with avalanche hazards, cornices, and variable conditions demanding respect.
