LODGE TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY

Booking Structure

​

  • No individual seats sold — You book the entire lodge.

  • Price per person assumes 12 participants unless a different size is confirmed in writing via email.

  • If fewer than 12 attend, per-person price does NOT decrease — group still pays full lodge cost.

COVID-19 & Government/Supplier Closures

​

  • No automatic refunds.

  • Any refund evaluated case-by-case at GPG’s sole discretion.

  • GPG may not have funds to refund due to fixed costs.

  • Rebook option: Same trip, next season (space permitting). No fee.

  • If partial refund approved: 3% credit card fee + $150 admin charge deducted.

  • Insurance is mandatory — you must cover closures via travel insurance.

Standard Cancellation (Client-Initiated)

​​

  • All trips are non-refundable. Participants can substitute their spot with enough notice.

  • Group is 100% liable for full lodge cost.

  • Cancelled participant must find own replacement (see Participant Replacement) or group pays.

Participant Replacement

​​

  • You may transfer your spot with GPG approval (safety & group fit).

  • You find the replacement.

  • GPG assists for a flat $500 fee (vetting, contracts, logistics).

  • Request in writing ≥ 30 days before trip.

  • No transfers inside 21 days — spot forfeited.​

 

Travel Insurance — SUGGESTED

​​

  • Book with credit card offering trip-cancellation coverage.

  • Every guest needs comprehensive insurance including, but not limited to:

    • Cancellation / interruption

    • Medical evacuation

    • Government closures

 

Deposit & Payment

​

  • Details:

    • Deposit: minimum 20% non-refundable at booking

    • Final Balance: Due 100 days prior to trip start

    • Late Payment: 5% penalty; spot forfeited after 7 days

    • Currency & Tax: CAD + 5% GST

    • Credit Card Usage Fee 3%

 

Group Organizer Duty

  • Person who books = Group Organizer unless otherwise stated via email.

  • Responsible for gathering participants, aiding in the communication and following up of unpaid invoices.​​

  • 50% payment required at booking.

  • Remaining 50% due 100 days prior to trip start date.

  • All prices in CAD + 5% GST

  • 3% Credit Card Fee

Cancellation Policy

​

  • ZERO REFUNDS — UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  • Booking is non-refundable from the moment of payment.

  • No exceptions for personal reasons, weather, illness, or closures.

Transfers / Replacements:

​

  • NOT ALLOWED.

  • Booking is tied to the named individual(s) only.

  • Unused spots are forfeited.

Force Majeure

​

  • If guiding cannot occur due to avalanche hazard, extreme weather, road closure, etc.:

  • GPG retains up to 50% of fee to cover fixed costs.

  • Any refund above 50% issued within 30 days minus 3% credit card fee + $150 admin.

  • Trip Insurance — Highly Suggested
